Elaine Webb - Co founder Wildforever Foundation.
Worked for Safeway 25 yrs retired in 1985. Volunteered with and became a wildlife rehabilitator at the Peninsula Humane Society Wildlife care center SAN Mateo, Ca. for 8 yrs. Came to Colorado in 1991. Tried to volunteer for the division of wildlife and was told rehabilitators did it out of there own homes. I met Linda Cope and explained what a care center was. We formed a nonprofit to try to get a center built in the Pikes Peak area. |
Anita Bush - Member at Large/Rehabilitator I graduated from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing, Minneapolis, MN, where I worked in their 28 room Surgical Suites, alternating every other day from Circulating to Scrub nurse. I changed careers and went to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad in the Freight Accounting Department. While there I participated in many of their Volunteer Programs such as the Handicapped Kids Program and the Women's Railroad Retirement Board. After moving to Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, I went to work for California Federal Savings & Loan. I was promoted to Branch Manager in their Lauderdale office managing a staff of 28 employees. I did an in-house branch transfer out to Mission Viejo, CA. In 1988, I accepted a position with Agape Partners, Ltd., at Park Place in Irvine, CA, working for my uncle, I ran his office for 10 years as their Executive Assistant, developing Theme Park Attractions and Rides. I have been a licensed Wildlife Rehabber since 2002. |
Annette Kohnert - President Was born and raised in Sweden. At an early age, she started to work with animals and wildlife became one of her passions and interests. Over the years, she traveled extensively all over the world and it was during one of those trips she met Mike, her husband. Annette is an Electrical Designer and Co-Owner of Kohnert Electrical Engineers, Inc. Together with her husband; they became actively involved with the actual operation of Wildforever Foundation in 2006. Currently, Annette is serving as President of Wildforever Foundation and she is also a Transport volunteer for the Colorado Division of Wildlife. |
Lisa Conary - Vice President Involved with Wild Forever for 6 years as a rehabber, officer and board member, currently serving as Vice-President and Board Member. Work for J.C. Penney for 23 years, latest position, Sales Manager. Moved to Colorado Springs in 1981 and have loved this community ever since. |
Teresa Gaebler - Secretary Registered nurse since 1992 specializing in critical care and hemodialysis. Wild Forever Foundation member since 2003, serving as Vice President, Secretary and Membership Officer. Teresa also volunteers for 9-Lives Rescue Inc., located in Colorado Springs. Officer in the Air Force Reserves. |
