Many people think so until they learn just how much effort it takes to become licensed. There is also a huge investment in time and commitment to rehabilitate wildlife. Albeit a time and resource exhaustive activity, working with wildlife can be an extremely fulfilling personal journey. The best way to learn more is to network with other volunteers and rehabilitators.
