Volunteers Wanted!

You are invited to attend our General Meetings, which are held the second Tuesday each month from 6:00PM - 7:30PM at our Administration Office located at 911 South 8th Street - Suite G Colorado Springs, CO 80906.

Part of a new initiative to get the community involved was the creation of committees to spearhead outreach projects and we invite you to join the team. Our committees consist of volunteers that donate their time supporting various operations like educational, fund raising and newsletter publication projects. View a complete list of the committees.

We are seeking volunteers that are at least 18 years of age and are willing to dedicate a few hours a week in support of the positions posted below. If you are interested in volunteering, send us an email.

Transport Team Runners: You would respond to calls received by the WFF Call Center and transport animals between the veterinarians and rehabilitators for assessment, treatment, and follow-up exams.

Promotions and Fund Raising: You would assist in running the display booths at local community events, explain what the WFF does, sell hats, t-shirts and memberships/donations.

Public Relations: We are looking for volunteers that can communicate the WFF mission to the public through the various media outlets.

Journalist/Writer: We are looking for two volunteers that would assist in composing the quarterly newsletter. Contact us for more information.
